Handling of Personal Information
MAKE MEDIA MATTER acknowledges the importance of protecting your privacy and personal information, and will adhere to all applicable privacy laws.


Collection of Information
When you use the MAKE MEDIA MATTER website, sign up for a MAKE MEDIA MATTER account, or other service including a promotion, donation, online petition, or subscription that requires registration, we ask you for personal information (such as your name and email address).

For certain services, such as our online donations and sales, we also request credit card or other payment account information which (we maintain in encrypted form on secure servers/is retained only for as long as is required to process your payment).

As jhr recognizes the importance of the protection of personal information in a sophisticated global information and communication society, all jhr offices and affiliates are required to comply with the present Privacy Policy or similar provisions subject to their compliance with local legal requirements. We may process personal information to provide our own services. In some cases, we may process personal information on behalf of and according to the instructions of a third party, such as our advertising partners.
Privacy Preferences
When a user signs up for a particular service that requires registration, we ask that they provide personal information. If we use this information in a manner different from the purpose for which it was collected, then we will ask the user for consent prior to such use.
